Located in Rockford, Illinois, and was founded in 1945 under Capitol Tool & Die Works, Inc. In 1981, Capitol Tool & Die purchased the assets of W.G. Carlson & Sons. The lid support product line came with the purchase of W.G. Carlson. Our name was then changed to DBA Carlson Capitol Manufacturing Company.
